As General Manager of the Policy Research Institute of Bangladesh (PRI), Syed Md. Nazim oversees the organization’s overall administration, finance, and operations to ensure efficient and compliant institutional management. Armed with a background in Management and Marketing, with specialization in overall organizational management, Mr. Nazim brings over 17 years of extensive experience in the management domain.
Throughout his career at PRI, he has been responsible for managing budgets, accounts, audits, and financial reporting; supervising human resources and administrative functions; and ensuring effective coordination with directors, staff, and external stakeholders. He regularly liaises with government authorities, banks, donors, auditors, and development partners to maintain regulatory compliance and ensure smooth organizational operations.
In addition, he supports the preparation of technical and financial proposals, develops policy and strategic documents, oversees IT and logistical management, and coordinates high-level meetings, workshops, and institutional events. He also prepares periodic reports for management and undertakes special assignments as directed by PRI leadership, contributing to the organization’s overall efficiency, governance, and strategic growth.
