He is currently Assistant Professor at North South University, Department of Economics, since 2023, and have been working with Policy Research Institute of Bangladesh as Senior Economist since the start of 2025. Prior to this he was Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Aix Marseille School of Economics under the TMENA2 project. He obtained PhD in Economics from University of Arkansas in 2021 July. His research is primarily concerned with application of advanced spatial econometric methodologies as well as satellite derived data in investigating the intersection between development economics and spatial / regional economics, as well as economic growth related concerns.
