Roksana Afroz is a communications professional with over six years of experience in media relations, strategic communication, content creation, and journalism. As a Communications Officer at the Policy Research Institute of Bangladesh, she leads communication initiatives across digital, print, and broadcast media.
Her work includes managing social media, preparing press releases and institutional communications, coordinating media relations, supporting live event coverage, and producing outreach materials that make policy discussions accessible to diverse audiences. She is skilled at translating complex ideas into clear, engaging content in both Bangla and English.
Before joining PRI, Roksana worked in public relations at North South University and built her journalism foundation through roles at Independent Television, Jamuna Television, and Radio Bhumi. She brings together storytelling, stakeholder engagement, crisis communication, and newsroom experience to help organizations communicate clearly and build meaningful public connections.
